HUD-VASH Vouchers Available for Veterans in Waterbury and Danbury
The VA Connecticut Healthcare System has vouchers available to assist homeless veterans with permanent housing and case management/treatment services. The HUD-VASH is a joint supportive housing program of the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) that provides permanent housing and ongoing case management treatment services for homeless veterans. Currently there are housing vouchers available in the Waterbury and Danbury area. The veteran must be homeless and must demonstrate a need for case management services. The contact for this program is Nicole Campbell who can be reached at (203) 479-8075. Please contact Nicole with any questions or if you are aware of a veteran who may benefit from a referral to participate in this program.
